Long time no see! Here\'s yet another video of a cute girl dancing.As always, you can find the 2k and 4k versions of this video on my Patreon. I\'d originally planned on releasing it a month ago, but a family emergency got in the way.Anyways, this was my first attempt at a project using MMDCloth, a plugin developed by ash000 (link in credits). It\'s a very impressive plugin that allows for accurate cloth simulation, and I wanted to see how well it would work for a "simpler" project.That simpler project ended up taking me a lot more time and effort than I\'d anticipated, but here it is! I\'m quite proud of it. I\'m especially proud of how sexy the part with her undone top is -- I picked a model with a flat chest because I wanted to see a bikini bouncing off that chest!I\'m using mox\'s camera for this motion. I highly recommend checking his work out if you want beautifully done camerawork and effects. I wanted to also include an entire lightshow, with the back lights bouncing to the beat, but it turns out that the rapid camera movements with the bouncing lights was nauseating. So I had to settle for a simpler set of light effects. I\'m going to revisit the beating lights idea soon.Unfortunately, you might notice that the back half of the strip is somewhat... jank? That\'s because I animated the strip in the wrong direction, and because of the way I\'d gone through animating the undoing of the bikini bottom, the entire cloth sim for that section broke. I couldn\'t restore it to its former glory. Forgive me!In the end, I think I\'m going to return to using regular MMD clothing physics for the couple of strip videos I still have planned for MMD. While MMDCloth is quite powerful, it requires much more planning.As an aside, I\'ve been especially inspired lately by creators like croove3D, and I want to see how much closer to a graphic, animated music video style I can take my projects. I have some good ideas. It remains to be seen if I\'ll do that in MMD or Blender. I\'m still trying to wrap my head around the latter.I\'ll also be making more short form video content for the next couple of months before returning to my larger projects. I\'d like to really focus in on animating facial expressions.
